Hands-on, on-site training tailored to your team and your brand. Sessions cover the full range of jewellery photography and content creation, from pack shots to campaign, social and moving image, so your team can produce strong work across every format, independently.
Jewellery demands a specific approach. Training covers how to achieve beautifully finished metalwork, how to bring out the depth and brilliance of stones and diamonds, and how to light and present pieces in a way that feels natural and considered rather than over-produced.
Beyond product work, sessions cover social and campaign content: developing concepts, styling sets, working with models and directing a shoot. Training also covers moving image and short-form video, which has become an essential part of how jewellery brands communicate on social and digital.
Whether you are building a dedicated photography studio from scratch or working with an existing space, I will assess your requirements and put in place the right equipment, lighting and workflows for your product range. The goal is a practical setup your team can run independently, making the most of your available budget.
I can also support with the people side. Whether you plan to work with your existing team or bring in new photographers, I can help with vetting, testing and assessing candidates so you know the right skills are in place from the start.
Post-production is one of the most challenging parts of the process to get right. Building the right pipeline, establishing consistent standards and knowing how to retouch jewellery so it looks natural rather than over-processed takes real expertise.
I work with in-house teams to set up effective workflows and provide ongoing support to help finalise images to a high standard. Good retouching enhances the metalwork, brings out the brilliance of the stones and plays a big role in establishing the right visual identity for your brand.
